Tennis for charity

During the Wimbledon tournament and for the third year in a row, American company Maui Jim hosted an exclusive tennis event at the Wimbledon Club that contributed to fundraising for Optometry Giving Sight.
Exponents of various sports, lifestyles and the media took part in a friendly tennis match together with Martina Hingis, former WTA #1 and ambassador for the Maui Jim brand, and Dan Bloxham, head coach of the All England Lawn Tennis Club.
Under the guidance of Martina and Dan, the athletes tested their serves by using a ball machine that certified their performance. Maui Jim offered a donation per serve and, after the final count, the prize and a check for 4,000 pounds made out to Optometry Giving Sight was presented at an official ceremony.
