X-Ice at 19th edition of Giro d’Italia a vela

Friday, June 22, will see the start in Trieste of the 19th Giro d’Italia a vela (sailing Tour of Italy), the event along Italy’s coasts that will end July 21 in Ostia.

The organizer of the event is Cino Ricci, captain of the Azzurra team on one of the first Italian yachts to take part in the America’s Cup that made millions of Italians enthusiastic about yachting. A fleet of identical G34 yachts with the same number of crew members will provide sea and sailing enthusiasts with spectacular regattas.
