Honey, there’s a hole in the rug!

In a world, like design, where rules are frequently upturned, the exception is the introduction of a rug with a hole. In fact, Hole, the new rug designed by Parisotto+Formenton, has an eccentrically- positioned hole that disrupts the surface to create a focal point, a kind of pause. The Parisotto+Formenton studio develops design projects for important lighting, furnishings and nautical companies. Hole is the continuation of a design route based on considerable sensitivity with regard to tactility and the visual perception of textiles materials.
