Safilo renews agreements with Alpargatas and Tommy Hilfiger

2018 came to a close with two pieces of big news for the Safilo Group: the early renewal of the global license agreements for Havaianas glasses and Tommy Hilfiger eyewear.
The former will be effective until December 31 2024 and, as Safilo Group CEO Angelo Trocchia said, “its aim is to bolster a project that began in 2016. We want to expand Havaianas eyewear with collections that truly reflect the unique personality and creative simplicity of this major Brazilian brand that is enjoying enormous success, especially in southern Europe”.
Trocchia was also enthusiastic concerning the agreement with Tommy Hilfiger, which will last until December 31 2025: “The early renewal of the agreement guarantees the success of a partnership that stretches back to 2010, and that is currently performing exceptionally well, especially in certain key markets in Europe, the USA and Brazil. The Tommy Hilfiger eyewear collections are being met with great success thanks also to the extraordinary importance of the brand throughout the world”.
