Okia “brings” trends to MIDO

Okia is making a loud comeback at Mido 2018 to introduce their latest innovations and to present the results of their recent collaboration with WGSN, one of the main global trend forecasting agency.
“See The Future of Eyewear”: this is the name of the Eyewear Summit addressed to manufacturers, suppliers, buyers, designers and editors that the company will be holding at the Milan show to unveil the not-to-miss key trends and innovations for the coming season.
On February 24th and 26th, the “SS19 Key Trends” and “Upcoming Technology and Innovation” workshops will take place. Covering the latest looks from SS18 global catwalks and exploring trends from street style and social media, the first presentation will focus on key shapes, colours, prints and patterns for the next season. On the other hand, the second presentation will provide a “now, new, next” point of view for key trends in the eyewear industry, tracking the origins and evolution of a trend and answering the big question “what’s next?”.
On February 25th the “Highlight of Eyewear Summit 2018” workshop will offer a round up of the top 10 big ideas in terms of trends and innovation through a highly visual, engaging and to-the-point presentation.
All the events will take place at the completely renovated Okia booth with the exclusive participation of Helen Sac, Director in Asia Pacific for WGSN.
