Mondottica International and Scotch & Soda announce new eyewear licence agreement

Mondottica International and Scotch & Soda have signed a licence agreement for the design, production and distribution of the Scotch & Soda eyewear collections.
Founded in 1985 Scotch & Soda is a world-inspired, Amsterdam-curated brand driven by a team of curious treasure hunters. Each season the brand’s collections begin with the same intriguing narrative, resulting in a web of beautiful ideas – ready to share, and to wear. The ‘world’ Scotch & Soda pour in to their clothes means there is always a story drawing you in, a little wonder pulling you ever closer making the story breathe and their audience fall in love with the their creations.
Inspired by this curious and irreverent approach to fashion, the eyewear ranges will follow suit, perfectly in sync with the collections developed in the brand’s canal-side design studio- a mainline for men (Scotch), women (Maison), boys (Shrunk) and girls (R’Belle), as well as a denim collection, Amsterdam Blauw.
The agreement, for both men’s and women’s sunglasses and ophthalmic eyewear, will run through 2024. The first Scotch & Soda eyewear range by Mondottica will be available from Spring-Summer 2020 and will be distributed through opticians globally. The sunglass range will also be available through Scotch & Soda’s own retail network and selected global stockists.
