Italia Independent Group S.p.A. announced has signed the deed of sale for all the shares held in I- Spirit s.r.l., a 50% subsidiary operating in the marketing of wines, sparkling wines, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages and owner of the I- Spirit Vodka and Independent Prosecco brands.

The sale was made in favour of the Fantinel Group, which already held 25% of the shares and thus acquired control of the company I-Spirit s.r.l..

The value of the disposal, which took effect immediately, amounts to EUR 30,000, which corresponds to the historical value of the shares plus a 20% premium.

The disposal is fully in line with the strategy of the relaunch plan of Italia Independent Group S.p.a., led by CEO Marco Cordeddu, aimed at increasingly focusing the company on the eyewear business and consequently at divesting all non-core activities.
