DaTE confirmed for Florence

The coolest event in the sector is set to be held from 22 to 24 September at Stazione Leopolda.

Registration is open now for the sixth edition of DaTE, the event that marries experimentation, innovation, luxury and modernity. From 22 to 24 September, a selected group of companies from all over the world will showcase the very best in cutting-edge eyewear to the public  in Florence’s Stazione Leopolda (a stone’s throw away from the Santa Maria Novella station).

The exhibition space has undergone some new major changes, that will now be split into five areas compared to the three in the previous edition, which are: MILLENNIALS, for the youngest brands that set new street style trends; ICONS, where creations can be found from the most renowned pioneering designers who have always acted as a source of inspiration for the whole sector; and LUXURY, for sublime collections from the brands most devoted to luxury and exclusivity. In addition to these, one of the two new areas is called TIMELESS, designed for companies dedicated to creating collections with timeless forms, symbolic of a modernity that is rooted within the past, but with a watchful eye on the future. In the Alcatraz space, another new exhibition section will be set up called SPRING, which is characterised by fun and minimalist pop-up stands that will host small companies who have made originality their core value, and who make their debut here or are taking different approaches to the event. For these brands, DaTE will be devoted to experimentation, and will be a one-of-a-kind opportunity to interact directly with the Italian public.

To attend the event, which is free of charge, you must register online on www.dateyewear.com, filling out the relevant form found on the home page. DaTE is open from 10 a.m. until 7 p.m. on Saturday 22 and Sunday 23 September, and from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. on Monday 24 September.
